Olympia TheatreOpened in 1908, added two balconies making it the largest theater in New England in 1912. Arthur Murray danced here and Helen Keller lectured here in 1924. It was torn down in 1953. | Theatres in Lynn

Across the street was the Dreamland Theater which later became the Bob Brest Buick dealership. |

Lynn Theatre on Summer StreetOpened in 1888, it soon became the busiest Theater on the North Shore by 1902. Harry Kelsey bought it in 1919 and renamed it the Waldorf Theater after his restaurant. Next door was the Casino featuring concerts and dances.
