This area of Chesnut Street was once called Gravesend, named for settler Samuel Graves who owned the land that is today near Lynn English High. After the Graves family moved away, the neighborhood would be renamed "Glenmere." Today there is a parking lot where this fire station once stood, next to what was once the Lewis School.

The Wyoma Fire Engine House and the Highland Chemical House.

Federal Street Engine House

Franklin Street Fire House at the corner of Baker and Franklin are condos today but still have the rounded windows.
