Many thanks to Isabelle for sharing this fantastic 1960's era post card of Roland's Ice Cream Parlor and Waffle Shoppe that was located at 46 Lynn Shore Drive on the new "Lynnway." Their speciality was the "Kitchen Sink," an ice cream sundae meant to serve 6 or more people. If it were open today that same sundae would serve about two.

Along the Lynnway Along the Lynnway are two yacht clubs and the Seaport Marina.

General Edwards BridgeThe Route 1A connecting bridge from Revere to Lynn was named after Clarence Ransom Edwards (January 1, 1859-February 14, 1931) and built in 1935. General Edwards served in the Spanish American War and the Great War. |
Seaport Landing / Heritage State ParkHeritage State Park offers a boardwalk and path along the ocean and is located next to the Porthole Restaurant. Seaport Landing features condominium living adjacent to a marina. |
